Transfers to and from Mardin Airport
Mardin Airport was opened in 1999. While Ankara flights were first made, Istanbul and Izmir flights were also added. The main settlement distance of Mardin Airport is 20 km. The 3x21 landing way is 2500x36 and covered with concrete. Mardin Airport was closed to air traffic until the end of 2011 due to renovation work on 14 June 2011 at the track. Technical block was built and the tower was renewed. From July of 2014, the new terminal has been moved to an international airport.
